fade-in background

Maybe it's been up forever and I missed the addition, but the background image that fades in on page load is very cool.

It's been there for a long time, but I'm glad you noticed it now that I'm thinking of a redesign! But seriously, it's definitely a lot more or less visible depending on your monitor.
