WOW!!! Went through each question and I must say, I think I answered about 15% of them correctly... It's amazing to see what you had to know for the job then. I would like to see the test for todays rangers for comparison.

Test...what test.....It's how you play the game now. Used to know most of what's on that when I worked for the USFS 40 yrs ago. Had to know horses, stock, timber, fire, plants, people, budgets. Wasn't even a ranger. Now they pretty much push pencils and deal with the baloney.
