Been awhile since we did this trip but I figured I would post our trip report itinerary. We are a family of four from Alaska who visited the Escalante area last March with my parents. We all had an absolute blast!
Day 1. Arrived Vegas. Drove to Escalante. We stopped and did a quick hike up Mossy Cave Trail north of Bryce to stretch the legs. Stayed Escalante VRBO.
Day 2. Escalante. I turned 40! and we hit Spooky.
Day 3. Escalante. Willis Creek hike and checked out the truck wedged in Bull Valley Gorge Canyon.
Day 4. Escalante. Wife and I ditched the kids and parents and hiked up to the Strike Valley over look and Upper Muly Twist Canyon.
Day 5. Escalante. Devils Garden and checked out dino footprints.
Day 6. Departed Escalante. We did a guided canyoneering trip near Kanab down Huntress Slot with Seldom Seen. Stayed Kanab.
Day 7. Drove to Vegas and checked out the polygamist community if Hilldale along the way. Circus Circus for a couple hours...Flew home.
