Anyone staying up late tonight to catch the eclipse? The best parts of the show should be around midnight.

i'm trying to decide the best place to view it from in the valley. I can't tell if the moon will be east or west at midnight. Anyone know?

Yes, at midnight the moon will be pretty much straight overhead

If you miss it tonight there will be three more chances to see a total lunar eclipse in the next year.

Had good views here in LA. The "blood" phase was pretty hard to capture with my small sensor, but I'm fairly happy with the results:
