Amazon's deal of the day is 75% off winter coats. I just glanced over the men's stuff and saw some nice looking packable down jackets in the $40 range. Might be worth checking out.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. I absolutely loved the down jacket. I actually went back to Costco and bought 2 more for my kids for Christmas. Hopefully I can get out and put it to the test a lot more next year. I have 9 backpacking trips planned for my scout troop and 2 planned without.
