Hey yall,
Im trying to get out of SLC for a few days and get down to canyon country while the weather is PERFECT.
I am familiar with all the main regions of canyon country but I would love yall's opinions on the best day hikes for dogs throughout the region.
A little bit of scrambling is fine as I am a competent climber and so long as the drops aren't huge, I can pick my dog up over obstacles.

Not interested in overnights but rather backcountry car-camping works best for me these days.

Thanks for the input

There's so many. It would be easier to tell you where not to go. Maybe narrow down the criteria a bit? Are there any regions that particularly interest you? What kinds of hikes? Canyons, walking in rivers, high points, etc? And do you have 4WD?

Yeah I can give more info. I do have 4x4. I'd prefer canyon hikes, stream/shallow river crossings are fine. I am headed to Robber's Roost in a few weeks for a technical canyons trip so I'm not attached to that region. Escalante or Moab would be good. I work regularly down in Zion so I'm not pushed to venture that far south. I think Moab might be a little limited with national parks restrictions and the lack of desire to be around ATVs.

I'm open to a 2 day trip too. I just am a little limited right now in my backpack carrying capacity with only a 35L and a 95L as options.
