Dark Canyon

I just did it last weekend. It's certainly possible to get in and back out with one night, but not at all recommended and you probably won't have time to see much of the canyon. You'll fully understand when you're picking your way down the Sundance Trail.

I did 2 days one night via Sundance Trail. Nicks picture is a good view of your descent. Very tricky, long and steep. I camped near the bottom of where the trail hits the creek in Dark Canyon. I had time to explore up and down canyon. The climb back up to the car is easier than the descent IMO.

Thanks for the information! I think I'll wait until June then, when I can go for a longer trip. :)
