Colorado Profiling

I was expecting that response but in my opinion, quality outdoors people are the only way we are ever going to prevent the oil companies and local governments from turning what is left of our fine country into a big oil field. Usages of proposed national park areas are monitored and how many people visit a site can seriously impact that sites future development or (hopefully), the lack of development.

But I confess I always pray for no cars at the trailhead.

You always have two choices...........do or don't. You hit it...."they just need a reason to pull you over" ..... don't give them one.

The shoe can be on the other foot ........ many have written off going to Colorado ...... just because it IS legal.

No oil ........ no cars to get to the trailhead.

Not necessarily, but I for one am not ready to go down the electric vehicle route yet, not to mention some of that supplied juice still comes from coal, the procurement and use of which has even more baggage attached than oil.

One advantage of being a crotchety old geezer is most law enforcement doesn't even know you exist as long as you can stay in your lane:roflmao:

I read that article today as well. That is basically the same thing that happened to me. Sucks but it is what it is I guess.

Maybe I should go ahead and stick the Grateful Dead Skull in Colorado Rockies colors on the car, load up a big bag of some other kind of legal herb and just have fun with it.
