Well, our frontcountry "domesticated campground" tent finally bit the dust. Today we scored a 6 man Coleman Weathermaster from a local wholesaler. We got this bad boy for close to half price. We'll use this on our trip in March where we'll be doing loop day hikes over spring break.

Nice tub pan floors, screened room zipped off from sleeping area,(hopefully this reduces mosquitoes in the tent, we got ate alive during our fall trip), plenty of head room, hinged door, etc. etc. We got lucky with this setup and the price.

We bought one similar to this when our first was born. We figured we'd have it for a few years until we no longer needed (or wanted) such a large behemoth of a tent. The oldest is now 13 and we still have it and use it when the kids want to camp with a few friends. As long as you keep it out of high winds, they sure are nice to fill with kids.

It's definitely a big a tent. The largest we've had. I wasn't going to buy this one, but my little girl fell in love with it, and the price was good.
