With the new software updates there will be some changes to how the featured trip reports on the home page work. Here's what you need to know:
The wonderful moderators of this site ( mostly @Jackson & @TheMountainRabbit) have previously been responsible for picking a photo from your trips to use as the featured image. It was kind of a tedious process.
From now on, the FIRST image in your trip report will be the featured image. So pick what you like the most, make sure it's roughly the right size and shape for the home page, and stick it right at the top. Done and done. Then the moderators just have to come along and click the feature button and it'll be in the featured content area and on the home page.
We're still working on how that will look over the next couple of days, but please keep this in mind as you put together trip reports. Put your best home page shot right at the start, even if you put it in again later in the thread.
