Capital Reef with kids

We are thinking of doing a dayhike in Capital Reef this weekend with our 11 and. 13-year-old boys. I’ve ready some very positive posts about Muley Twist in other threads. I’m curious if anyone has any additional routes we should be considering or if Muley Twist is the one.

A couple of nice hikes in the Fruita area: Cohab Canyon to Cassidy Arch via the Frying Pan Trail. Also my favorite in that area, Navajo Knobs.

In warmer conditions, Sulfur Creek is awesome. Navajo Knobs is great. Pleasant Creek is nice (but you end up crossing the creek many times so maybe wait for warmer weather). This book is really good, they probably have copies at the visitor center:

Also Meeks Mesa, Waterpocket Fold slots (Burro, Surprise, etc.), Fremont Gorge overlook.
