Canyonlands Packrafting Trip

Hello,
I was hoping you could send me the GPS points for the trip. Also was wondering what the name of the canyon was that you dropping in from the 4x4 road. I'd like to do the trip May 20th but I just found out Salt Creek Canyon is closed starting May 21st for big horn sheep. But it looks like you guys dropped into another canyon.

Hey! Thanks for the awesome trip report! Looks like garmin adventures has been sunsetted and the gpx is no longer available. Do you still have it on hand? I'm specifically curious about the descent from the Colorado Overlook Road to the river/ "Box Elder" beach. Any insight is much appreciated! Thanks!

I'd say to just hike until you get to the river, then turn left/down stream. You'll be pretty high above the river, but you will eventually come to where you can hike down to the water onto the beach.
 
Hello! I am planning a trip here and was wondering if you could share a bit more about the last part of Water Canyon, below the spring. I know you mentioned it to be sketchy, so I was curious if you can tell me more about it so I can decide if it's something I'd want to do

The "trail" was fairly easy to follow, but it was very primitive. It's not a trail maintained by the NPS so it doesn't get repaired. You really just follow your way down the canyon via the best route you can find. Be prepared for lots of loose rocks and sliding dirt as you make your way down.
