It appears that it won't be possible to access Lower Calf Creek Falls for a couple of months this summer, due to reconstruction work

Calf Creek Recreation Site expected to be closed for 2 months

Calf Creek Recreation Site is scheduled to close July 8 to make way for project construction.

we drove though this area last Memorial Day weekend and it was just incredible... many many cars parked crazily and unsafely at all sorts of spots along highway 12. so I suspect this is overdue!
