While this was definitely off-road, we will put it here. I went up with one of the neighbors this morning and flew both sides of the Bridger Range and a pass along the north end of the Gallatin Range-a very enjoyable hour.
Our place about 6 miles north of Bozeman and some of the brush I've been preoccupied thinning out the last couple of weeks.
Looking southwest from the north end of the Bridger's. Tobacco Root Mountains to right and Madison Range directly behind.
The central part of the Bridger's, Absaroka Mountains east of Yellowstone River background left with Gallatin and Madison Ranges to right.
Bowls off of Hardscrabble Peak-yep some really good backcounty skiing.
Saddle Peak. You can actually access this area from the Bridger Bowl Ski Area.
View to west down Middle Cottonwood Creek. FS access road and our place to right at canyon mouth.
Gallatin Range south of Bozeman. The pyramid shaped peak at right is Mount Blackmore.
Madison Range-Spanish Peaks.
And the vehicle.
