A friend and I went on a 2 night backpacking trip to the beautiful Never Summer Wilderness. We camped at Parika lake after a 5 mile hike in, then ascended the pass at the Continental Divide, down and up another pass, and down past Ruby and Bowen Lakes and finally up to Blue Lake for a final night of camping. We saw 2 moose, a herd of elk high on the ridge, some sort of grouse or ptarmigan, and lots of fish that eluded our bait. Great weather and a great time. Enjoy the photos.

Great pics! Very cool place!
By the way.....Flies work best in the high country.

I've been up Baker Gulch to Parika Lake a couple times and went north instead of south to Bowen Gulch. Some great scenery! I love the expansive views. I've meant to do the loop sometime but just haven't gotten it done. I really enjoyed looking at your pictures.
