Blackrapid Straps

The best photo gear I have ever purchased is a BlackRapid strap however it does not work to well when I also want to carry my gear in a Lowpro backpack. Have any of you used the BlackRapid backpack straps? Would solve the problem but they don't look all that sturdy.

I use the black rapid sports strap, I don't have any problems with that, and my lowpro bag on my back...

If you had one of the newer sling packs or those side entry ones, I could see it getting in the way
