I have an older model Revolt headlamp and love it. The only problem is that it was designed to only charge BD brand batteries which do not have plastic covering the bottom section of the negative end. This allows the charging lead to connect to BD batteries but not other batteries. This will produce a blinking red light when attempting to charge. The simple hack is to remove the plastic and glue from the bottom of other types of batteries and therefore allowing a connection.
I did it with several different batteries and it worked great and gave me the blinking green light then a solid green indicating a full charge.
FYI this could void a warranty, cause priapism, and who knows what else so be advised.
