With it being my 26th birthday a ski tour was in order. 1st stop was at Hectors for a free birthday steak and eggs burrito.

Next stop was at the top of big cottonwood canyon at the winter closure gate of Gardsmans Pass. It's gotta be 5 o' clock somewhere!

On the way up Grady was wondering where the hell is the snow!

From the top of Gardsmans Pass the objective for the day was within reach...Peak 10,420.

The group a top the windy Peak of 10,420.

Myself at the top of Peak 10,420 on my birthday.

My twin was able to pull off a few shots of us just before the steep rollover down the main bowl.
I was 1st..........

Next was Grady.......

And last but not least was Ron....

We skinned back to the saddle of Peak 10,420 and were pleasently surprised by the coverage in the trees while skiing back to the car. Due to time constrictions there were no pics of the 2 lap back to the car.

I had it on my list to hike peak 10,420 this past summer but didn't get to it.
Well the summer time is a short hike but in the winter it starts to feel more like a real mountain. The trade off is that you usually deal with snowmobilers in the area though.:stomp:
