Binocular recommendations

Id like to get some opinions about moderately priced binoculars for birding, hunting and general use. There are a lot of choices out there and Im just trying to see what seems best in the field. I'm also trying to keep it under $600
 
I use Nikon Monarch's 10x42 for hunting etc....I like them for the price.
