It seems rare, but here in San Diego a man was gored to death in his backyard while gardening by a buck at the start of the mating season. What's even more unusual is that it occurred in the community of Rancho Santa Fe, one of the wealthiest areas in the country, where everything is alarmed, video-camera'd, gated, etc. Can't shield yourself from everything.......
