Here's a fun question that I've wondered about for a while. How many miles do you all put on your backcountry vehicles every year? We put a bit over 20,000 on our Outback last year (we also use it as a daily driver), and friends and family never hesitate to tell us we're putting too many miles on it. I'd imagine there are a lot of weekend warriors putting more miles on their cars than we are.

(If this would be better in the Backcountry Vehicles thread, feel free to move it there)

I've got a 15000 mile per year lease and I ride right up against that pretty much. Funny thing is I work from home so my daily driving is things like half mile to the store, a mile to starbucks, etc. The real mileage gets piled on every weekend lol.

I have over 200k on mine and have had it 10 years, so that's 20k/year. I tend to mostly stay in Colorado or Utah, but once or twice a year I'll take a long trek somewhere, and that puts on the miles. Of those miles, I'd say 20% are backcountry, which would be about 2,000 - I call backcountry anything not paved, so we're not talking hard-core 4X4ing, not much, anyway.

34k on my F150 since I bought it in January of 2016. Of course, it is my daily driver. Also used to get me up to the resorts, out to the trails, to the campgrounds, and on the occasional long road trip -- I tend to take a 1000-2000 trip every few months to meet my brothers somewhere to hike, bike or ski.

I'm at 33k on my F150 that I bought a month earlier! :) Kinda scared to let that thing run out of warranty...

My backcountry vehicle is DD as well, so far 21K miles in almost 3 years, most of which are camping/fishing miles. It helps that I don't have to commute for work.
