Amythest <---> Rock Creek Basin

Has anyone ever connected Amythest Basin with Rock Creek Basin?

I was looking at my pictures from a couple of years ago when I did the Upper Rock Creek
and I noticed that the shoulder on the Rock Creek side, above Helen Lake, seems very doable.
When I look at the sat images of the Amythest side it looks pretty sketchy.

Anyone connected these going either way?

If anyone has I would guess @Artemus has?

Thanks Art! The views from the bottom make it look like something I could handle. The views from
the top down .... well, those make me second guess any desire to attempt it.
I can totally picture glissading the scree.

Honestly I was hoping for a reliable route up the Amythest side so I could go
Amythest --> Rock Creek --> WFBF.

You are welcome of course. I would be happy to talk to you about it on the phone too. Up the Amethyst Lake side would be hard due to the loose scree. Glissading that same loose talus (down) would be a pleasure. PM me and we will talk.
