Just wanted to get back to you to make sure you knew that there was severe flooding in the Hildale area a few weeks ago. I'm not sure how the road is going to Water Canyon. Please check before your trip.

Especially poignant after the long week we've had watching the Oak Grove fire up there. Hopefully this rain will put an end to it! I've been up Water Canyon/Mill Creek and Forsyth (I probably spelled that wrong) up to Burger Peak this year. Always leg burners, always beautiful.

Better watch out. Almost 7 years ago after a Grand Canyon dory trip and a trip to Zion, this Midwesterner and family ended up in St George. Best thing we ever did! Ps we were in Boundary Canyon this week and did the Kolob Canyon exit to the narrows. Stayed in campsite 7 :)
