At that photo spot I was looking at the ledges below the Navajo to the south, which looked the best from GE. I'll make it back down there. I finally got to see this one recently. @Jammer inspired this one, but he doesn't get to answer.

Eye catching on maps? My first thought is Millers Creek, I've walked a way up it one nice January, but recall it looking a little different.

For a three night trip my maximum is about 5-6 hours. I need at least 4 nights if I'm going to drive much further. 14 hours each way? That's pretty rough, it would have to be quite the pay off, and I don't really mind driving. I'd just think it through. Is 14 hours going to be worth it?

breakthrough. I started cooking more in the backcountry, so the jetboil wasn't the perfect match. I've been using a separate titanium pot to cook with, and still bringing the jetboil for coffee and boiling water. stupid. I tried out the GSI Outdoor pour-over this weekend, and I'm set. Love it.
