That was 3P4. They had little plaques on them indicating they had been donated by/funded by some nonprofit (Yellowstone Forever perhaps?), but I can't recall if there was a year written on the plaques. They seemed pretty new. Very good condition and clean.

Whew, yeah that would probably get me to turn around too. Haha. Beautiful but not optimal! Definitely get back there! Later September and October would be great times to go to see the larches when they have turned yellow.

Sounds a lot like down here in Montana too, until this past week. Still too warm, but the mountains have been getting good snow recently at least. The xc skiing up there looks great!

Got em, basically a pinpoint location too! I'd expect nothing less. I only did an overnight route through there but it was some of my favorite stuff I've done in Montana. Have at it!
