How long does their winter season last? So it's just a free for all for the campsites in this time?

I'm planning on doing it this July with some buds of mine, although I'm starting at chepeta it will be test physically and mentally. I'm so stoked! It's really got me excited to get in great shape and really evaluate my gear weight.

I second the opinion of Western Mountaineering. Although they are very spendy you will never have to purchase another sleeping bag ever ( if you take care of it)

I had the fly creek and took it back for the copper spur. Best decision ever. You get two vestibules and has side doors so you don't have to crawl in from the front.
