I tried to read up on climbing Granite in the Deeps, and it sounds like most of it is pretty much choss. Did you lay a hand on any of it? I'll have to hold off on posting until later this evening. (photo access issues)

I hiked Whitney in 2008 with my Dad, and it was a very memorable trip. I'd really love to see more of the Range of Light, but the long drive eats up too much precious time. Some day.

Did the Silver/Chop loop this past spring. Besides the crowds near Neon, and around the Escalante, it was spectacular. I've got a few ideas in the works.

The hoodoo's don't form like that on top of the fold in that area, there is some similar in the LMT spot, but even still quite different. Looks like the red breaks area to me. near the Navel.
