Unnamed lakes of West Fork Black's Fork

G-80, G-79, G-78, and G-81 look right on your map. I think G-82 is where you have G-83 on your map. Where are you getting the G-83 from? I don't see it anywhere.

Unnamed lakes of West Fork Black's Fork

Here is what I have. Click on the "Bear River Drainage" link for the PDF and then scroll to the last page with the map on it. They are on the far left of the page. Kind of hard to see. You have to zoom in. http://redrockadventure.com/fishing/uintas/ According to the stocking records G-80 was...

Unnamed lakes of West Fork Black's Fork

Retracting this statement. It looks like G-80 and G-82 have been periodically stocked with small populations of Brookies.

Unnamed lakes of West Fork Black's Fork

The IDs for those lakes in that drainage are(Going South to North) Ejod = G-76, Dead Horse = G-77, G-80, G-79, G-78, G-81, and G-82. The lake you have the green arrow on is G-79. The only lake that has been stocked in the last 10yrs is Dead Horse Lake. If any of the unnamed lakes has fish in it...

Unnamed lakes of West Fork Black's Fork

Here's a TR by the Provo bros. from that area. Doesn't say the name of the lake they caught those nice Cutties out of but it looks like Ejod to me. If you get a hold of one of them they might have some info about the other lakes. http://www.ianprovo.com/2011/08/back-to-uintas-for-25-miles.html

Catch a free Season Pass to The Canyons

You're probably right. They should have said no bait in the rules. There are lots of baits that are artificial .... Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2

Powerbait and salmon eggs don't sink very well so I would put some sinkers just up from the hook. If they don't allow powerbait get some of those rubber worms and get some "flavoring" spray and spray it on them. Look for "row" flavoring. Bait hooks usually have barbs on them so you will either...

Catch a free Season Pass to The Canyons

You could fish it 2 ways. 1. Put a bobber about 6-7ft above you hook. Cast out and watch your bobber. 2. Put some sinkers about a foot above your hook and fish right on the bottom. I would try the bottom first and if you don't have any luck switch to the bobber method.

I wonder if powerbait is considered and "artificial lure". Pretty positive it's not a natural occuring substance...

Catch a free Season Pass to The Canyons

Just a tip for anyone interested in catching this rainbow trout. Your best bet would be to use powerbait or salmon eggs. The reason being is that rainbow trout in general eat a lot of row(fish eggs). Powerbait is made to smell/taste like row. That's why all the powerbait fishers usually catch...

Looks like the difference is the motorsports edition comes with the suction mount and a flat helmet mount whereas the outdoors edition comes with the vented helmet mount and the headband mount. I use my headband mount all the time. Never used the vented helmet mount. I also have the suction...
