Nice TR. I can't wait to get my kids back out. I slacked off big time last year. My youngest is now 14 months, so hopefully he'll be a bit more game this coming spring.

Well, he was the runt of the litter. Very tiny, but he's now bigger than his sister. Whenever he gets food he eats it really fast still while deb will just kind of pick at it and take her time. Very weird how that plays out with dogs.

Also, I try to avoid mounting it to my head as much as possible. I use my extention pole while hiking, etc. as much as possible. One of the guys that joined us on the Subway in August had his mounted to his treking pole. I thought the quality of his footage was pretty good:

Would a 12' rappel require the need for an autoblock? That seems a little over-kill? I'm not necessarily questioning the person who died in the Subway because I know he was a beginner, but would anyone here feel the need to use an autoblock on such a short rappel?

You always know how to make lemonade out of lemons nick. Awesome TR. It's sucks we can't always hit the hike in epic times (like you see in the pictures), but that's what makes it an adventure. I can't wait to return to The Subway and hope to see it under different conditions than I saw it recently.
