- after a too-close encounter at 60 mph on my motorcycle in northern Colorado. I noticed him as I rode up on him. He jumped up onto the bluff and interrogated my intentions. Hearing no response he headed north fortunately after I captured this iPhone pic.elkEncounterAltered.jpg

The male osprey caught the fish and brought it to the nest for the female osprey. The fish got stuck in a stick in the osprey nest. The female osprey took off with the fish on the stick and landed on a pole in front of us. It was an amazing sequence of events.

This guy walked right by our front window then down into our backyard. Evidently he had walked through town, taking in the sights.

Greg's photo is of a moose? That is beyond strange that you can see it but I can't. It's usually a privacy setting, but it should be the same for both of us. I checked it from another IP and other browsers and same thing.

I'm not sure. I'd guess a couple feet?
