Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Did you think it was the Bobway or someplace else? Did you know there are two Bobways right near each other just as there are two Bobby's Holes near each other what's the deal?

Edit: Check that the northern pass between Fold and Stevens canyon is called "Bobs Way" and the exit on the westside south of Fools is called the "Bobway". Sorry to clutter the Guess the Spot thread with this.
First I thought Bobway, then I thought Scorpion! But I was blurting out w/o any research confirmation

It feels like it's in the vicinity of Canaan Peak or Powell Point.
It's Boulder Mtn to the left and Mt Ellen to the right, with Impossible Peak in the middle.
Am I close or way off?

correct about Boulder Mtn and Mt Ellen! location is a bit more prosaic, a popular car camping area somewhat to the east of Canaan and Powell

Well yes, it is!
Awesome! I think I may have camped in that exact spot 5 or 6 years ago. Hard to be certain since there are so many little spots like that, but that feature seems pretty familiar.

Edited this to keep the "car camp sites" thing going.

Looking the other way, a bit later that same morning at breakfast time:

It's a nice area that we've stayed at several times, with little coves where you can have some privacy. Neighbours around the next bend or two, who we couldn't see or hear, were flying a drone in circles overtop us the previous evening. I gave it the finger which seemed to get the message across!

I'm trying not to be hyperbolic but drones are among the worst things to happen to peace and quiet in the outdoors in the past decade. Glad they stopped.

Like most things, it depends on human behaviour. In Kauai in 2015, we were sitting alone at the end point of a ridge hike when a couple who we had passed earlier showed up. After chatting a bit with us and eating their lunch, the guy asked if it would be ok if he flew his drone for a few minutes. We said sure, he got it set up nearby and flew around the area taking a video for maybe 5 minutes at most. No problem! He then packed it up, and took the profile photo at left.

That could've been my nephew. He does a lot of drone photography in Hawaii (lives there). He was going to bring his drone to the Tetons last summer until I told him it's illegal to fly in the parks. He has some fantastic footage of the Na Pali and other places on the Islands. I have a love-hate relationship with the things - love to see the footage, hate it when they're overhead.
