I've used a Deuter Zero 30 for a number of years for long day hikes/snowshoeing. They no longer make it, but I do see a Futura 26 and AC Aera 30 as close replacements. I can easily fit my gear in the Zero 30. The other Deuters are heavier than the Zero 30 (1375g) but a little smaller. I really like the Deuter Aircomfort systems, especially in the summer. I also insist on being able to carry two water bottles that I can reach (bladders are out of the question). Anybody have an opinion on the Futura and AC Aera? I'd consider a different brand with similar features/specs, though there's not a large variety to try here.. Thanks!
