Now thought I would post on this thread. Now also I cannot post any photos for at present am living without a camera and am not taking pictures of my nights out or whatever at present, so this will make me ineligible for the prize ... O Well! Also I live without one of those freaking modern day phones which has a camera, so like I said am living without a camera at present so can't post any photos. Thought I would post here anyway. Also sorry that have been away from here posting as of late for have been working and then mainly just lurking when am around and about.
Now as for myself at present am here in Jackson just living on my bike with being on purpose 'Homeless', which means camping out nearby every single night and then working at my job here in town during the day. Am just having a tarp, my sleeping bag, and just a few things in my sleeping out with also living without a camera, living without a tent. I have places in the woods I go when the weather becomes more rainy. Have been going this way since April 15th, when I had to move out of my winter housing. And this will continue like this till October 15th or so when I can move back most probably into my next winter's housing. Also I just can't pay the outlandish prices for rent that is here in Jackson these days.
But have been living out on my bike all spring and summer so far, in living just this simple life which has been great! In late April when I had to move out and there was still quite abit of snow around the area, I went down to Zion Nat'l Park for several weeks which was terrific and camped out with enjoying the park. Like I said above, am working right now also and taking care of a few things before I retire. At present am 62 and taking care of just a few financial things. Soon afterwards when I retire plan to be living year round out in those wilds with the mountains nearby or Alaska or wherever in the summer and then the deserts and canyons in the winter. One reason for no photos of my night camps is now have started living without a camera also. I have no car and love it this way. I have no freaking phone and love it this way, and now live without a camera. Love the Simple Life!
Guess at present with the days since the middle of April when moved out of the winter housing ... it makes like 96 nights so far. Love It! But am looking soooooo forward to next spring when will leave the present job and maybe leave working period to hopefully rest of my days in the wilds possibly. And the boss at work already knows of this.
Also will post here at the end ... there is sooooo much out there in the world and in life to see and to experience. Enjoy Life and Enjoy the Wild Country while one can. Wishing Everyone the Best!
