UT 2020 water outlook

NWS SLC just dropped their winter water supply briefing on YouTube.

tl;dr
So far so good on the snow pack. If the precipitation and cooler weather continues, the drought conditions will further improve. Lake Powell volume is 82-84% of average, Green River is 85%, and the Virgin River is 109% (didn't pay attention to the northern UT ones).

Still looking good, not counting the current storm system.


Also, the NWS SLC office dropped their UT water outlook video last week. It sounds like the colder spring temps contributed more to preserving the snowpack more so than precip levels.
