Atop Mollies Nipple in Hurricane!

I made the mistake of telling my kids the name of that formation. Every time we are out in Hurricane my daughter has to make some comment and snicker. The funny thing is she doesn't understand why it is called Mollies Nipple. I figure one day she will get it. Until then...I just laugh every time she asks.

Living in Hurricane we had lots of jokes about Molly. Whenever it snowed the most common 5th grade joke was "look Molly has a bra today!"

The family hiked up the Portal Trail, around the ridge and looked back onto Moab. Easter weekend so it was far quieter up here than down in town.
