I submitted this shot as an afterthought, after submitting one I thought they might like. They didn't, but they really liked this one:

Not bad for a totally blind comp-it was dark (3:00 a.m.) and I couldn't see anything except the tent, so I just aimed the camera in the general direction and took a shot!

Thanks! That was taken in Anza-Borrego State Park CA, actually, not a terribly scenic area IMO, I just happened to wake up at exactly the right time to capture this. That's pretty much the story behind most shots-you just need to be there at the right time.

Yea, but being able to get away from places like the east coast where I am at that is lit up like a christmas tree all the time and get some real darkness helps too.
