In June I had hiked Mt Naomi when there was lots of snow still up high. A few months later I found myself wanting to go back to catch the end of the wild flower season. Also, a friend/co-worker was trying to hike all the trails in the book, Cache Trails, was bugging me to take her up to Mt Naomi. So one Saturday we drove up the Tony Grove lake and headed off up the trail.

Very soon the wild flowers went from good to amazing! I was glad to see they were still on strong and not starting to die off.

My friend and Monte near the top of Mt Naomi. The wind was freezing cold and she had to been freezing in her tank top, but she was a trooper and didn't complain.

Monte on top of Mt Naomi. We didn't spend much time on top as the wind was quite cold and after snapping a few photos we headed back down.

Mt Magog (just right of center) on the right and Gog (near left edge) on the left. White Pine Lake sits between these two.

Saw this hummingbird near the top! Sorry for the blurry picture.
