Stumbled upon this site today and wonder why that didn't happen before.
We have visited the Southwest more than 20 times but only backpacked once.
Fortunately many remote places can also be reached with long day hikes from a car camp.
Many of the places shown by the beautiful photographs on this site we have seen with our own eyes, but you all have shared so many great tripreports that we sure will find some new hikes for a next years visit.
Once i have sorted out how to do it i'll try to post some of my own pictures.
