REI has finally made it to the midwest. An REI store opened here Indy. I all ready have a few pieces of REI gear so I figured why not. I signed up to be an REI member. I figure I'm probably gonna be in a lot of trouble with the misses, but what's new?
What do I need first? I'm thinking a new paddle for my kayak.

I know right, I can't stay away from the damned place even though I always find much better deals at backcountry.com etc...

It's the dividend, for some reason I am happy paying full retail knowing I'll get a sweet check at the end of the year that I can dedicate to gear.

It's where i pick up my footwear. I'm kinda picky, and you can't beat the return policy. If I'm going to shell out money for shoes, I'd better like them or be able to return them.
