Highest Mountain in Norway, Galdhøpiggen, the start of a 9 day backpacking trip in Jotunheimen national park

I started my 9 day backpacking adventure into Jotunheimen national park with a climb to the highest mountain in Norway and Northern Europe, Galdhøpiggen, directly translated it means something like “Crazy High Peak”. It was a perfect day for magnificent views down at the many glaciers surrounding the mountain and a perfect start to my first trip into this legendary national park.
