Hello - my name is Rob

Hey there everybody, Rob here. I was recently introduced to this forum and have lurked around for a week or so and finally decided to join. I currently live outside of Syracuse NY with my wife of 23 years and my 2 children (girls) ages 15 and 11. In 2014 my goal was to spend at least 1 night a month on the trial, sleeping in my hammock (did I mention I love hammock camping) and so far, so good. With my last trip, I am just over 225 trail miles for the year. I also try and capture my trail antics on my YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/12trysomething/featured?view_as=public BackpackingAdventures.

I love playing music, watching basketball, good food, cigars and great friends. I look forward to getting to know the members of this forum as time goes on.

Hi Rob. Nice to see another member from the northeast. I'll definitely check out your channel. Love the ADK's, the Whites, Catskills, etc, so we've got a lot in common.
