Hi, I have been a follower of this site for years but want to become more involved. I live in Northern Utah and live less than an hour away from the Uinta Mountains. I have went into the Uintas Mountains all my life but only certain small parts of them. Last year I decided to get into hiking and backpacking to explore new areas I have never been. I have many places on my bucket list. This site is a great resource. I'm looking forward to everyones information, journeys and will also provide some of my own. Thanks and keep exploring the great outdoors.

Thanks but I can't take credit for that picture. I wish I could take pictures that good. It's just one that I found that I like and use as a wallpaper on my work laptop. I'll have to post the full size when I get a minute. I have this for inspiration because that's where I'm headed to in late August.
