Dumb Question of the Day: Where is the northern gate on the Mirror Lake highway

I know the gate on the south end of the Mirror Lake highway is at Soapstone Basin but I guess I don't know where it's gated on the north? I feel kind of dumb not knowing this (blush). Can someone educate me?

Right near the turn for the North Slope road, just past Bear River Lodge.

Yes, on a snowmobile. There's a big parking area where cars have to park.
