Cedar Mesa 3/11/24- Springs & Road conditions

FYI, Stopped yesterday (3/11/2024) at Kane Gulch Ranger station, Ranger Heidi gave us the latest update for springs & roads.

Pls note- Road conditions will likely change substantially during/after the upcoming rain/snow event March 12-15. Especially Owl/Fish access, it was dry yesterday, but it’s the first road to deteriorate.

Last year, the latest Conditions Report was available online. Hopefully, they will regularly update it again this year.

Yes, I was surprised to not find it updated on-line, I checked that link before posting

Ranger Heidi was waiting for a backpacker to return from Lower Grand Gulch, before finishing up the 3/11 update. She printed one for us, the list had just been finished.

Kane Gulch station prepares the list (I found out 3/11)- but is it actually the Monticello office who posts it online?
