Mountain dreaming... time to head back to 'em !

This is a trip from a few years back or more, West Rosebud drainage. On trail day 1 and day 7. Off trail the rest. Fantastic area !

What time of year did you take that trip?

Trip taken 3rd into 4th week of July of 2010, had been a high snow year. Further back than I thought. Time flies faster every year it seems... Started at West Rosebud TH, hit each basin north of West Rosebud Creek, and hopped a couple ridges to go north of a couple those, to finish at Frenco Lake basin before heading back down trail a day to TH.

Fantastic area !

Yep, my most favorite place in the world. Will be hitting it again this summer-not sure where yet. Pretty much an annual thing for the last 52 years.
