Snowy Mountain is the higher peak on the left. Just shy of 4000 ft. Has a fire tower on the summit.

there are channels thru the floating bogs, some just dead end in the reeds and grasses.

The water level was up to slightly above the usual level, a result of all the rain we’ve had lately. We saw one loon on the lake (Jackie got pics with her camera, these pics are from my cell phone).
