Woodbury Fire, Superstition Mountain Wilderness

Looks like this fire is going to devastate the wilderness area. Word I got was 75% loss. Expected to last until the end of July. Can't fight it much right now because of the ruggedness of the country.
They are hoping the cliff dwellings in Rogers Canyon are high enough to not get damaged but expect Reavis Ranch to be burned. Likely will take Tortilla Flat.

Was my playground growing up.

Wouldnt call it devestated. It grows back easier than thick stands of forest trees

It’s tough pill to swallow seeing this in my backyard.
Glad I hiked the heck out of it this winter
