Wilderness Areas

Yeah, I've had this bookmarked for a couple of years and occasionally zoom in on all the tiny Wilderness Areas I've never heard of.
I spend most of my time in the largest ones because a big part of it for me is getting far from roads, but does anyone have thoughts or experiences to share from some of the smaller Wilderness Areas? Many of them are only 3 miles wide by 5 miles long.
Also, I rarely hear about trips in some of the largest ones like Selway/Bitterroot and Frank Church/River of No Return. Is that just because they're dense forest without many views or trails?

More maps = more better!!
I‘ve been to the Frank Church/River of No Return on a 9 night fishing backpack. Hot and dry, sparsely vegetated, no “peaks” and a ton of small, low flying aircraft, at least where I was. Not a real attractive place for straight up backpacking to me. Lost all my photos to memory card failure.
I‘ve liked the smaller wilderness areas that I’ve visited. If you‘re attached to distance, hiking dawn til dark, can’t sit still, etc, probably should avoid but if you like going slow or just hanging…..
