Water available at these Escalante-area spots?

Looking for any recent reports, or beta from similar water years, on water availability at Silver Falls Creek and cliff spring, upper Ringtail, between Hydra/Ichabod, and King Mesa/Long Branch Sleepy Hollow area. I know what Allen says, just trying to validate with some recent reports before heading out. A friend who was out in late March reported some expected water sources were already dry. Thanks!

I hesitate to post this, since I have zero expertise in the interpretation of the data, but looking at the Snow Water Equivalent graphs from NRCS for Southeastern Utah seems to indicate that this could turn out to be a drier than average year, although I guess the next couple of months could...

Hoping to head to the Escalante area early next month so I'll be watching for any reports here.

The soil moisture is very dry, and any standing water has been absorbed quickly. It was shocking how little pothole water there was last month even after a few recent storms.



NWS SLC posted this last night in a video. It's only select watersheds, but you get the idea of why it is so dry in S central UT.

so the news from the central waterpocket fold (Pleasant Creek area) is that there's not only plenty of pothole water but also some puddles. it must have rained there during the last week. not like a big rain, but at least something that ran down the slickrock.
