Wow, that's sweet. Complete with a map of the crossover. You would have a sense of how the roads are handling the weather, Udink. Is the main road from I-70 subject to big rutting when wet like this for a period of time. Looking to add some new locations to my April trip. Thanks, JohnA trail runner acquaintance of mine did it in a day (22 miles in 7 hours). His report is a little light on photos and details, but describes some of the routefinding problems he encountered: https://www.professorontherun.com/?p=954
I haven't been on that road in many years, but it seems like 10 years ago it was prone to big muddy spots in the Oil Well Draw area. It's possible that the road has been better graveled since then. The road coming in from Castle Dale and down Buckhorn Wash is really good packed gravel and pretty much always passable. You would have a sense of how the roads are handling the weather, Udink.
